Strawberry Basil Yogurt Pops

Strawberry Yogurt Basil Pops

Summer heat calls for a refreshing recovery snack post workout. Try this delightfully guilt-free yogurt popsicle recipe. A sweet and refreshing mix of fresh California strawberries, basil, maple syrup, and plain Greek Yogurt combines to cool your body, fuel your muscles, and deliver a healthy dose of vitamin C. Did you know that a serving of 8 California strawberries is only 50 calories and are a source of fibre?

Each popsicle provides 15 g of glycogen renewing carbohydrates, 15 g of muscle-building protein, and 20 mg of illness-fighting vitamin C. On top of this, the cooling power of the popsicles make them a smart choice for mid-game nourishment as cool liquids and slushies have been found to reduce fatigue and aid performance in the heat.

Preparation Time: 10-15 minutes

Freeze Time: freeze overnight for best results

Yields: 6 popsicles

18 Quartered California Strawberries

3 Cups Plain Fat-Free Greek Yogurt
