Go for Green Smoothie

 

You can’t help but feel healthy when you’re guzzling something as vibrantly green as this shake.  The Go for Green Smoothie is hydrating and packed with vitamin C, vitamin A and fibre. Don’t let the spinach scare you away; it is a surprisingly sweet and fruity beverage. Pair it with some Greek yogurt and nuts for breakfast or enjoy it after a workout to rehydrate you!

Ingredients

Makes 2 ½ cups

 

½ cup Frozen Pineapple

½ cup Frozen Mango

2 cups Baby Spinach

1 ½ cup Water or Coconut Water

1 Tbsp. Chia Seeds

 

Directions

  • Place the spinach, mango, pineapple and chia seeds in a blender.
  • Pour the water on top.
  • Pulse gently until mixed, and then on high speed until well blended.
  • Serve immediately.
